A:   This is a single speed unit.

#2 Q:   I have a 2000 sq foot home. Will this fan do the job. Is it quiet?
A:   You would want the HV1600 at minimum, and for the quietest units, look at the Airscapes. The 1.7 and larger would apply for that size home.
