#1 Q:   My application is to install the above in a trunkline to boost about 400 cfm to 900 cfm. Is there a control to start the fan when it senses that the air handler has come on?
A:   This can be accomplished a couple ways, they can be wired direct to the air handler to gain power and the sense when to operate, or you may use a Tjernlund PS1503 pressure switch, or equivalent to operate the fan more local to where the fan is if the main unit is not easily accessed from where the fan is.

#2 Q:   How should this be installed to cut down noise?
A:   You want to use insulated flex duct between the fan and the area you want to keep quiet. Typically 8+ ft of the flex duct will cut down most of the noise. More duct, more sound attenuation.
