#1	Q: Hello, Broan 210 ai erv question. When upsizing to 8 duct due to length of trunk runs, do I use all 8 on all 4 ports or just the outside ports (which have an 8 collar adapter installed from factory)? A: The larger collars are there to accommodate insulated flex duct on outside ports. They are not for upsizing to 8 inch ducts. The unit has 6 inch ports. You would use 8 inch ducts for long runs or lots of elbows (high pressure drop). You do not need to blanket upsize all of ducts. The goal is to limit the pressure drop in the ducts the unit would have to overcome. Feel free to call us to discuss during business hours. Asked on 2024-09-25 by J P
#2	Q: My ducts are 8. I need to replace the air exchanger I have. Can I use 8 to 6 duct reducers. Im running off a battery so I want the one with the least wattage and I have a small house. Does it come with the controller or is the advanced controller optional? A: Yes, you can reuse the bigger 8 inch ducts. Controls are all optional on the Broan line.
