#1 | Q: I need to replace 3 Wall registers in an old house that had very odd sizes. 13 2/16 by 7 3/8, 11 9/16 by 7 5/8 and 13 5/8 by 7 3/8. Thea are the actual sizes of the opening. These are registers on the wall and meet the floor. Can thes be custom made? Sorry, Im very green at this kind of stuff! Thanks for the help! A: Typically the register openings are almost exact inch size and the grilles are undercut a 1/2 inch to slide into the opening. For example, a 14x8 inch opening to fit a 14x8 (13.5x7.5 recessed grille section dimensions) listed grille. The 9/16 openings are probably OK for standard grilles but the 3/8 and 2/16 framed openings will be too small and you would need custom grilles. I would suggest giving us a call at 877-711-4822 during business hours and we can discuss some options. Thanks. Asked on 2019-08-21 by Andy |

#2 | Q: What is the depth of the faceplate on the 102M series? A: 1/4 inch is the thickness of the faceplate. Asked on 2017-03-20 by Cliff |
#3 | Q: I am replacing all the registers in a fix up house. I know I can use this product as a heat register. Can I also use this for return air vents? A: I would look at the 190 or 290 series for return as these are somewhat restrictive on the return side as well as they have dampers which one would not want in that airstream. #4 | Q: If I buy the air return grille in brown color can I buy the register in brown color too? A: The Truaire line of filter grilles is available in white only. Asked on 2013-10-09 by Larry |
#5 | Q: Do you make this in a 24 by 4 inch? I need to replace some of mine and this is there size. A: That size would need to be done by our custom Dayus line. Try looking at the DAVD. Asked on 2013-09-11 by nancy |
#6 | Q: Need to replace ceiling register outside dimension 15.5 x 7.5; air duct opening is 14 x 6; inside grille dimension is 13.5 x 5.75 - do you carry this? A: The 102M or any of the Truaire grilles should fit. The outer dimension be a little larger, but not by much. Asked on 2013-09-08 by Lynne |
#7 | Q: I need a grill this size with the damper measuring 5 3/8 and the length being 11 since I recently had a hardwood floor put in and it no longer fits. Can you make this? A: Not in this style, take a look at the Dayus DABL Bar Linear Grilles... Asked on 2013-08-26 by D. M. |
