S&P SIL Series Inline Duct Silencers
The galvanized SIL Series steel silencer is used for kitchen range hood ventilation and other applications where noise is a concern. The S&P silencer reduces the "actual" sound level of the kitchen ventilation system by 50% or more.
They feature rubber seals on the inlet and outlet.

| #1 | Q: Can you put two of these together to reduce noise further? Also how does this differ from the Fantech LD Silencers? Is there a reason to use one over the other? The SIL-250 is almost 29lbs, so it would definitely need to be supported using metal straps. A: No official accessory or recommendation from the manufacturer.
