#1 | Q: What is the CFMs I can get from this unit? Thank you A: Depends on the size you are looking at and the fan pushing the air. Here is the performance sheet for these (CFM vs pressure drop): https://www.hvacquick.com/catalog_files/TRUaire_LD_Performance.pdf Asked on 2019-05-19 by Joseph |

#2 | Q: I am making the boxes the slot diffuser will slip into, how will the diffusers be secured in place? Should we put a flange on the box? A: Slot diffusers boxes have a flange (bent upwards, almost hemmed) on the long sides. The Truaire slots come with the C brackets that slip into the bent flages and lock in. The diffusers are secured by screwing through the slots into the C bracket. The holes are pre-drilled in the diffusers. Asked on 2019-01-17 by Chris |
#3 | Q: Dear Sales@ HVACIm interested in the TRUaire LD Linear Slot Dff., however even though my choice length is 24, i cannot figure out how to select the width of 6. A: What you see on the page are the only sizes available. Truaire does not offer other width sizes. Asked on 2018-11-05 by FG |
#4 | Q: is there a way to connect this to a 4 opening ceiling fan duct? A: You would need a metal plenum that converts the rectangular shape to round. The round outlet is typically on the side of the plenum (box) since the top is narrow. We do not sell them, but you can buy plenums for linear diffuses from local sheet metal shops. #5 | Q: Is there an adjustable damper inside diffuser? A: Yes, each slot has 2 movable parts that are used to adjust the airflow. Asked on 2016-05-12 by Tony |
