#1 Q:   What is water column? Is it saying that with 2.8 or water column/air ventilation hose that the CFM goes from 600 to 100ish....? Does water column mean ventilation hose? If not please explain what the Water Column is and what the chart is trying to say. Please and thank you.
A:   Inches of water column is a pressure measurement. Like PSI but lower for fan airflow ratings. Its literally how much pressure an inch of water would create on a surface. With fans, the more pressure the less CFM the fan will be able to produce.

A:   Sure, anything that need airflow these will work great for. You will need to protect it from the weather however.

A:   These and most inline fans can handle 140 degres F.
