Minotair AcoustiCare and MegaFlex Insulated Flexible Duct

AcoustiCare Flex Duct© is an insulated layers is an insulated Flexible Air connector consisting of two layers of pure aluminum and of 2 of a polyester binding a galvanized wire. AcoustiCare Flex Duct is design as a sound attenuator. It has an additional protective thick membrane (0.003’’/0,0762mm) design to avoid any contact between the air stream and the insulation. Like this, no moisture touches the insulation and insulation fibers can not migrate into the air stream.

MEGAFLEX duct© is an Flexible Air Duct duct consisting of a pure aluminum exterior wall and of three layers of polyester binding a galvanized wire. It is completely water and air tight, corrosion resistant and can withstand high static pressure. High static pressure resistance is achieve by having a tight distance between helix (1 in./24.4mm) and by having a thick wall of 0.0037’’(0.095mm). This duct is required for all external connections to the PentaCare V12 units.
