AC Infinity AIRTAP Register Booster Fans

The AIRTAP register booster fan system is designed to be mounted onto wall or floor registers to boost airflow. By increasing warm and cool air coming from weak registers, you can increase room comfort and reduce energy costs. Features an LCD display with smart thermostat control and customizable fan speeds. The mounting frame is constructed of aluminum in either brushed bronze or painted matte white finish. Includes hardware and power supply needed to secure the unit onto an existing register opening and power it through an outlet. 6 ft power cord included.

The controller on each unit features active thermal monitoring that can trigger fans to run for both cooling and heating temperatures you have set, as well as automatically adjust fan speeds to respond to varying temperatures. The controller can also be set to run continuously at speeds manually. Features temperature display, easy power on-off, and backup memory.

#1	Q: I want to use this set up to move warm air from my upstairs living room and force the warm air into my basement. This would work perfectly if I could reverse the motor and run the fan in the opposite direction. Is that possible to do with this motor? A: Unfortunately no. These are not reversible. #5	Q: If the temperature in the room reaches the desired temp., I understand the booster fans shut off, but does air continue to freely flow through the register from the duct if the air handler is still pushing air? I would hope the register closes. It would be undesirable for the central cooling unit to continue to cool the room below the desired temp. A: The booster does not monitor room temperature. It measures the temp of the air coming through the vent and starts and stops based on the cooling/heating triggers you have setup on the controller. A: Features active thermal monitoring that can trigger fans to run for both cooling and heating temperatures you have set. #8	Q: What is the max input temp these units can handle? I want to use to boost a duct off our fireplace with temps as high as 200 degrees F. A: AC Infinity states the operating temp range is 14 to 230 F. We would not recommend it for anything higher than 140 F.
