ALX-UD and ALX-UD-EC:  Ideal for exhausting air from restaurants, offices, warehouses or commercial buildings. The ALX series spun aluminum exhaust fan can be used as either a roof top or wall mount exhaust fan. FEATURING PERFECT SPEED EC MOTORS (not all models) - UP TO 82% EFFICIENCY.

• Spun aluminum housing will not rust, chip or peel
• Aluminum backward inclined wheel is non-overloading
• Available with PSC or EC motors
• All motors are 1 Phase 120/240V operation and can be operated at 50 or 60 Hz
• All units can be wall mounted
• Quick release latches for easy motor access

#1 Q:   The C dimension is 19. Does the curb need to be slightly smaller to fit into the openning? If so what curb size do you recommend?
A:   The curb is smaller so it fits inside fans flange. The Canarm version of the matching curb is 17.5 inch OD square. RCG17.5

#2 Q:   1. Confirming that ALX-UD drain is for both grease and rain water? 2. Does unit provide access from roof for servicing damper below unit or is it best to order hinge kit?3. Does variable speed switch come with EC motor unit or must it be ordered Separately?
A:   There is separate draining for grease and water. Servicing is done from above. The -EC models come with an EC motor included. If you want to get the EC motor then get a -EC model unit.
