S&P TR Series Energy Recovery Ventilators for All Climates

S&P’s TR series ERVs moderate extremes in both temperature and humidity, creating a comfortable indoor environment. The unique moisture transfer capability of the S&P core also eliminates condensation and frost build up in most applications. Unlike other ERVs on the market no mechanical or electrical defrost systems are needed, which means higher heat recovery efficiencies, easier installation and more reliable operation.

#1 Q:   Does this come with any form of controls or just manual/timer options? I would like to keep my house slightly positive pressure compared to equal or negative pressure.
A:   Controls are optional. None included. You can balance the ERV to match your pressurization needs.

#2 Q:   I have a ERV in my house and the blower motor is shot. I am thinking about replacing it with your TR130 unit. My unit is almost the same hookup as the 130 except I have a 5th duct connection that comes in on the top side on the same side as where the outside air duct is. the duct ties into the metal duct work as it returns to the unit on the bottom left side. Can I use your 130 unit and what would I do with that top extra duct?
A:   Some ERVs require a 5th duct for defrost purposes. The TR series does not. You can cap and not use the extra duct. Make sure the existing duct connections sizes match what the unit requires. Feel free to call us to discuss in more detail.

A:   They are listed in the Submittal Sheet for each unit. Look under the Links tab for all the submittal sheets.
