As a general rule, use the same size duct and system components as your fan. For example use 8" ducting and 8" components with the 8" FG 8XL fan. If your range hood liner has a smaller outlet size than your fan, use the larger fan size for your ducting. The larger duct size will result in less static pressure losses and better system performance. |
