Using an inline fan that is remotely mounted helps to making your kitchen exhaust as quiet as possible. We recommend using a silencer on kitchen exhaust systems because the ducting is normally made of rigid galvanized steel. The rigid ducting tends to amplify any motor and air noise that is generated.
