|#1||Q: I am wanting to use this in conjunction with a long run from my OTR microwave... Will this unit automatically detect airflow from the OTR and turn on to boost airflow?
A: No. There are no controls included with these inline fan. Its a fan only.

|#2||Q: Is the 4 inch version of the EC suitable for use in a very small kitchen in conjunction with a range hood(no fan), and what do you offer for a variable speed switch?
A: They can be used in a kitchen but you might want more airflow. We typically see 6 inch or bigger fans used. Call us at 877-711-4822 if you need help sizing the fan. Fantech offers the MTP 10 switch for controlling these.

A: These are limited to 140 degrees...as are most of our inline units.
