Suncourt DRY04 Centrax Dryer Booster Kit

Suncourt Centrax Dryer Boosting Kits also known as Dryer Vent Boosters and Clothes Dryer Vent Boosters are prepackaged kits that are installed to boost the exhaust from dryers that have long duct runs to the outside. The kit consists of a Centrax centrifugal fan, current switch, and mounting hardware.

Suncourt's dryer boosting kit is designed to increase efficiency of the dryer, providing benefits such as shorter drying time, less wear and tear on the dryer, and lower energy costs.

    A:   The fan is 120 VAC.

    #4 Q:   What activates the fan? Is it temperature? Is it moisture? Is it pressure in the duct?
    A:   The fan has a current switch. When the current switch senses current flowing in the dryers power supply it activates the fan.

    A:   The current switch is 1-1/8 inch thick, 1-3/4 inch tall and 3-7/8 wide including the mounting base tabs. This is as of Sept 2014.

    A:   It has a current switch included to operate the unit.

    #7 Q:   Where should the clothes dryer booster fan be located? Closer to the dryer or in the middle of the exhaust line or closer to the outside vent? This line is about 20 - 25 feet long. Thank you.
    A:   Farther is better...most manufacturers want at least 12-15 feet from dryer to fan.
